when chinese artist Bo Jia came to the usa he was crushed by what the term “made in china” meant. he returned to china and purchased the kilns in Jingdezhen where the imperial china was once made. celebrating the traditions of chinese porcelain and paying homage to past lifestyle’s master potters create these beautiful, simple pieces based on Bo’s designs – the result are these new wares imbued with the luster of eternity
