september + early october – 6 weeks that we have spent opening boxes, rearranging the shop + having more of our lighting suspended….plenty of new items from home furnishings to gifts, great tabletop + serving pieces for the holidays (or everyday)…and more to come this month

the ARNAUD…it’s been a long wait – but it has been well worth it – a handsome modified wing chair from verellen – we selected kalahari linen in graphite with a nottinghill metallic leather pillow in quartz – large slip stitch adds just the right amount of ‘something’

we couldn’t imagine blown glass being any sexier than joe cariati’s decanters…that was before we saw joe’s new collection of blown glass table lamps. photos (at least ours) do not do these pieces justice – they are to be seen ‘in person’. we have 2 cool shapes at the shop, silk shantung shades, beautiful silohuettes, sultry colors

our new ‘4 rounds’ pendants are hanging – available in antique brass or black silver – solo, paired or a big staggered grouping – very appealing!

gingko martini tables – hand forged steel gilded with gold or platinum – just one is a statement – grouped or paired for a larger ‘table’….i am once again considering ‘taking up drinking martinis’ – seems like these tables make it cooler than cool

it’s all about the glaze…yes it is! and of course the hand crafted brass spoon does add something extra

it’s never too early to start getting ready for a season of friends, family + frolicking – back in stock – “fat glasses” in amethyst, smoke + emerald

HANDSOME! linen bar towels or guest towels (or even a luncheon napkin)…and we have linen coasters in the same….think barcart, bourbon + bonhomie – fantastic host or hostess gift paired with either a brass bottle opener or beekman’s bar of soap

back in stock…limited quantities – best to buy now if you are considering these for gifts (and what a great gift)

’tis the season for gardener’s – oodles of ‘dirt time’ as the beds are ‘put a away for the season’ + prized plants repotted to transition indoors. scented soaps in oakmoss + lemon nettle – developed by gardeners for gardeners.

aged terra cotta pots (these are the new ‘mandarina’ shape) from campo de fiori – ready for those special transplants, succulents, ferns…whatever is going to keep your ‘green on’ this winter

tatine candles in 4 sophisticated scents – drop by the shop – we keep them burning! check out tatine, of chicago in our ‘may we introduce’…. http://artefacthome.com/may-we-introduce/
be sure to check out our EVENTS page for upcoming Artefact Home|Garden events…we have a few coming up
REMINDER – beginning November 1st we will be open SUNDAYS through the winter + spring!
